According to sources, the scammer created a fake loan approval letterhead under the “Sonu Sood Foundation” and sent the letter to the people who requested it. In addition, the fake letter also indicated the bank account number. Recently when the actor learned about it, he filed a complaint with the Uttar Pradesh police and soon he will file one with the Mumbai police.
In the letter, the scammer claimed that the company only accepts online transactions. In a social media post on Friday, Sood said: “‘Sood Charity Foundation’ does not provide any type of loan. Please beware of these scams and frauds. One of these fake numbers is +91 90072 24111 . Thank you!”. Shortly after learning of the scam, the actor approached UP police and filed a complaint.
